best national day in years, well in terms of it being a fun and fruitful public holiday anyway not so in celebrating our nation's independence day though oops, sent zhen off on the night of national day eve before making our way to josh's to play CITADELS (a medieval turn-based card building game that's truckloads of fun GO GOOGLE IT :p) bummed around channel and web surfing after that till 4am so we could order mcdonalds breakfast before me ivan and dave conked out on the sofa bed. slept quite well for the first time at josh's i was actually on the verge or in the middle of a dream when i heard a loud knock followed by blinding lights and ivan's distinct vocals"EH WAKE UP HOI WAKE UP FOOD COME ALREADY GO EAT GO EAT WHO HAVENT PAY YET I NEED MONEY"
ahhaha and so me and dave got up groggily and shoved 10 bucks into ivan's hands and made our way to the dining table when eman found out he had been short changed and exclaimed
"EH I ORDERED SAUSAGE MCMUFFIN WITH EGG THIS THING HAS NO EGG IN IT WAHLAU"
called mcdonalds to complain and got them to send a new burger with an extra hashbrown for compensation. shared it amongst ourselves so breakfast was pretty hearty hooray and promptly slotted myself comfortably back into the sofa bed as soon as i was done :D
had a pretty decent dream forgot what or who it was about but i had slept for a good 4 hours and woken up with a smile on my face so that's always suuper. ivan suggested citadels again but everyone was too woozy to want to use their brains (well at least for me anyway) or busy doing something insignificant or another so we just didnt as ivan wld put it "gather gather together" so in the end the citadels idea just faded off. bummed around some more watching cable, nothing nice was on but we were just talking nonsense bout whatever was happening anyway so it wasnt all that bad.
still it could have been better and we were getting really bored so we started discussing bout what we shld be doing later in the day when we found out they were showing sky high on disney channel (FINALLY SOMETHING GOOD ON TV) so we were all quite hyped up to watch it. finally decided on playing lan halfway through the movie so we made our way down to beauty world for some cs and dota while we screamed our lungs out.
decided to go our separate ways after that, got home took a nice hot shower, tried to watch the ndp but i was nodding off so i gave up and went to bed heh.
really, it's been a suuper 36 hours thank you God :)

on another note,
ahhahah ive really taken to this picture, wayne roooney after tucking away the winning penalty against chelsea in the community shield going "yeap that settles it we win so shushh" with a cheeky smirk.
oh and i must add i really love the hue of the red of the united jersey this year though the white stripes and the new font of the numbers and player names on the back really irk me.
which reminds me football this sunday yes ahh going to be scoring goals for fun and then going home to watch united kick off their season in emphatic style against reading :D
